DESIGNING THE LANDSCAPE OF NGUYEN TAT THANH STREET

Nguyen Tat Thanh road axis is a long double-track road located at the long beach of Khanh Hoa peninsula, the road connecting Cam Ranh airport with the tourist city of Nha Trang.

At present, the road is not invested with landscape and shade trees, only shrubs and ornamental trees are planted, and it passes through a desert sandhill. Therefore, creating a landscape for the road of Khanh Hoa province is very important. We had to find a way to make the road a natural cut and a route to introduce and explore nature. Our solutions are:

Shading the road; Connecting the landscape on both sides; Creating an impression of reducing the width of the road section by correcting the terrain in the median strip; Using local structures and materials, especially trees, not focusing on ornamental plants; Soften the boundary between the road and the functional areas on both sides.
